Lingo Tales is a language-learning app. The operator is Davut Kilinc, based in Germany.

Account information from Sign in with Apple (such as email and, when provided, name)
App usage and learning progress data
Conversation/session content and telemetry used to provide app features
Subscription and purchase validation identifiers (Apple In-App Purchase related)
Technical diagnostics and server logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service

3. Voice and Audio Processing

User voice input is processed for speech transcription and conversation features.

Temporary AI-generated response audio (TTS output) may be stored briefly to deliver playback to the iOS app, then deleted.

Retention statement (current implementation): user voice input is not retained; temporary AI response audio is deleted after a short delivery window.

Authenticate users and manage accounts

Where GDPR applies, we generally process data to provide the service and perform our contract with you, to pursue legitimate interests (such as security, fraud prevention, and service improvement), to comply with legal obligations, and where required, on the basis of consent.

6. Data Retention

Account-related data is retained until account deletion, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Temporary AI response audio is deleted after short-term delivery handling.

8. International Transfers

Some service providers may process data outside your country. Where required, appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections are used for international data transfers.

10. Account Deletion

You can request deletion in the app (Profile/Settings) or contact support at support@lingotales.io.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your App Store subscription. Subscriptions are managed through Apple.

Lingo Tales is intended for users aged 13 and older.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above.
